COCo was present at the workshop organized by UNESCO Chairs in OER on Open Technologies for Open Educational Resources and Open Learning last Tuesday 30 September 2014.

“The aims and purpose of the workshop are to share and disseminate knowledge, information and experiences in state-of-the-art Internet based technologies and services that can be used to organize, present, browse, analyze, remix, reuse Open Educational Resources and more, and to promote cooperative and collaborative activities in several areas supporting the core themes of the UNESCO Chair.”

After the introduction of the new chair, Mitja Jermol, OpeningupSlovenia team emphasized the importance of having the commitment of all stakeholders in order to conduct a project on open education.

Using the constructivist approach, several projects are taking place. They intend to introduce open education in three phases. First, run it in parallel, then connect with formal/traditional education and, finally, integrate it.
